Louise PinderSculptor / Installation

Louise Pinder’s artworks are made to reference symbols of human expansionistic behaviours
through history and places.

Louise Pinder is a skilled practicing artist and educator with over 15 years professional
experience. Her multi-discipline background in traditional and contemporary art practices
has provided Louise with a myriad of skills and opportunities to work with large and small
organisations.

Louise’s artwork reflects a high level of conceptual and technical expertise
demonstrated in exhibitions and the Australian and International precious metal coin series
commissioned by the Perth Mint.

In 2002, Louise received a six-month Artist in Residency in the CSA Sculpture Department at the Australian National University. This Residency provided Louise with opportunities to experiment casting lace into Aluminum. From the residency a body of work has continued to grow into a 25 piece of body armoury.
