Pencil On is a solo exhibition by Canberra-based artist Chris Burton that investigates methods of translating urban spaces into abstract compositions, expressing depth and noise within constructed landscapes. Informed by interactions with both familiar and foreign spaces, the drawings react to environments that feature density, movement and repetitive architectural patterns. These are translated through the use of abstract tonal transitions, visual mapping and repetition of linear mark making. By using similar mark making on varied surfaces - paper and board - the body of work suggests a conversation about surface and its implications for tonality and space.

Common Threads is a group exhibition curated by Saskia Scott that brings together new bodies of work by Marilou Chagnaud, Lucia Dohrmann and Kate Little. The three artists share a deep concern for the construction of meaning through the material processes of their work, as well as an interest in repetition, pattern, and geometric abstraction.

Fog is a solo exhibition by Lan Nguyen-hoan that explores the concept of ‘fog’ as a multilayered metaphor. The fog will be introduced as an additional element of the landscapes. The works in the exhibition will seek to tease out the symbolic significance of fog through the use and application of materials.
